Film meets science: Self versus system

Is it a false promise that the individual can change, can be better? An individual is always part of a system in which being better may just mean to assimilate. Or does change mean that individuals take many little steps, changing systems bit by bit?

Day 1 of the festival program will take the perspective of the individual on how to be a better being.

Day 2 in contrast will view being better from the societal level, what should a system look like that enables it’s members to strive? And can systems as such achieve individual progress at all? Micro and macro perspectives on being, being better, becoming better will blend to elucidate how change is possible.

Each session will be chaired by Anna Henckel-Donnersmarck.

The entrance is free
